A new electrician lifestyle:
we made a promise to European motorists. We promised we would make new energy vehicles accessibleto drivers who are young at heart and ready to embark on a new electric lifestyle. MG wants to disrupt the EV market as the new,but more importantly, as the smart choice. By launching several sustainable vehicles in the coming years,MG is demonstrating its sole commitment to electric mobility. Offering European motorists affordable, practical,safe and high tech vehicles with excellent quality. Let me give you an update on MG in Europe. The 100% electric MG ZS EV is the first truly affordable electric SUV in mainland Europe. And the very first all-electric SUV in the B-segmentto reach a five-star Euro NCAP rating for safety as well. This ZS EV has reached staggering sales figures in its first year of sales with more than 15,000 units sold, reaching top positions in the UK,Norway, the Netherlands and in Denmark. These figures prove the high demand for practical,safe electric vehicles with a smart price. Also in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria,the number of registrations went beyond expectations. In Belgium the ZS EV has even been votedas Family Car of the Year 2021! In December 2020, we announced the MG EHS Plug-in Hybrid. This Electric Hybrid SUV is now for sale in 8 European countries and we will also enter into Germany, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Sweden will follow soon as well. This means that only 1.5 years after the first launch in the Netherlands MG vehicles are now sold in 13 European countries– including the UK – and performing well. We find our way to the customers and they find their way to MG. MG not only carefully listens to its customers,but also provides trustworthy customer care with 7 years warranty as a reassuring element. In the past 18 months in mainland Europe,we not just entered 13 new markets but also opened 100 Brand stores for sales, after sales and services. Our plan for 2021 is to open another 200 MG Brand stores across Europe. Our ambition does not stop there. When MG started in Europe, we made it clear that MG is hereto make a change for the better: working determinedly and vigorously on making electric mobility accessible to the many. We have carefully listened to what European customers need and want. Let me name a of the MG5 isthe MG5 is 500 kilogram,and a roof load of 75 kilogram. Fully in line with the practical and functional character of an estate car. the MG5 Electric is therefore suitable for a bicycle carrier and roof box. Finally, it is worth to mention the Vehicle to Load system,used to supply electricity to any external appliances. Safety systems are of course also of the highest level. The MG5 Electric offers all the advanced systems you need. The all new MG5 Electric will enter the MG Brand stores across Europe in the autumn.
